Christine + Paolo at The Secret Garden, Kent

“We found suppliers who resonated with warm, romantic and chill energies. We really didn't want our wedding to be too wedding like, but rather a celebration of love. The vibe of our day was relaxed, comfortable, silly, complete with natural earthy colours! We just wanted everyone to have a good time, eat well and celebrate our love for each other. We only got engaged 5 months before our big day, so a lot of precious items were made with love by us! Including all the buttonholes, our bridesmaid bouquets and my bouquet too! The flowers featured on the wedding gazebo were created by Karen at Anemone "

Where do I start with this absolutely gorgeous pair?! Christine and Paolo are the definition of twin flames - their energies match so beautifully and oh my do they know how to have a good time! From teary personal vows to breaking out in a dance at any given chance, there was not an unmissable photo op throughout their day.

C + P started their day getting ready at Downsview Guesthouse in Ashford, before heading to The Secret Garden for their ceremony. The highlights of the morning included Christine reading a sweet love letter from Paolo, and the pair holding hands and saying a prayer together (without peeking at each other) just before their ceremony. Got me right in the feels!

Christine and Paolo read personal vows in front of their family and friends outdoors under a gazebo decorated in florals by Anemone Blue as the sun shone down on them. There were plenty of happy tears throughout their ceremony, then they danced down the aisle to toast their marriage as their guests covered them in petal confetti!

I always dig a colour scheme of sages and golds for any wedding breakfast set-up, and it just went so well with The Secret Garden’s rustic garden vibe. The table plan and names featured important years and milestones from Christine and Paolo's lives which I thought was a really fun touch!

After a delicious meal, some fun speeches, and a little wander around the quaint grounds of The secret Garden, Christine and Paolo headed to the Five Bells Inn, Bradbourne, along with their guests to celebrate the evening away.

As the sun went down, Christine and Paolo cut the cake and danced in the golden light, followed by walking through a sparkler tunnel under the fairy lit garden. Magical! The party continued with Christine and Paolo jokingly serenading each other with songs such as Bruno’s ‘That’s What I like’ and Ushers ‘My Boo'. Cannot hear these songs without thinking of these two now, hahaha! What a day!

“Photos From Sophie genuinely has our hearts. She captured all the beautiful candid moments - including our prayer before the ceremony - everyones’ tears of joy and how happy the day was. Honestly could not recommend a better photographer.”
